USSOUTHCOM SCITES - Advance Notice of Virtual Industry Day

This letter is an advance notice that the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) intends to release a Task Order Request (TOR) in May 2020. This TOR is for United States Southern Command Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (USSOUTHCOM SCITES). The purpose of the SCITES is to enable central command and control of IT management and CTO compliance activities from within a theater NOSC by modernizing USSOUTHCOM constructed network infrastructure and services. This includes traditional unclassified and classified enterprise assets, as well as Multinational Information Sharing Systems (MNIS) and their supporting networks and communities of interest. Theater IT cyber security services will inform Defensive Cyber Operations and minimize risk to the Combatant Commander. The purpose of this letter is to notify all Alliant 2 Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) Industry Partners (IPs) that a Virtual Industry Day will be held on April 14, 2020 through the Google Hangouts platform. The presentation will begin promptly at 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time (ET). Sessions will begin on time. Please test equipment prior to the start time. The purpose of this Virtual Industry Day will be for the Government to explain the overall SCITES vision as well as to provide details regarding the SCITES requirements identified at this time.
