USSF - Unify Telecommunications System Upgrade, Buckley SFB, CO - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Space Force (USSF), is conducting market research to modernize the Command Post Communication System at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. This project aims to upgrade the existing communication infrastructure to ensure compatibility with current and future technological standards, enhancing operational efficiency and security. The modernization effort is crucial for maintaining seamless and secure communications within the command post facilities, which are integral to the mission-critical operations of the Space Force.

The scope of work involves replacing the existing Unify Telecommunications systems at both the Primary and Alternate Command Posts located in Buildings 1030 and 730, respectively. The current system is outdated and has reached its end of life, necessitating a comprehensive overhaul. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, labor, transportation, and supervision required for removing the old systems and installing new ones. The new system must meet stringent requirements such as Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification, Internet Protocol capability compliance with DISA STIG and MUDG requirements, as well as support for high call volumes akin to a 911-Dispatch Call Center.

The proposed communication system must integrate seamlessly with existing base phone systems using various connectivity options like T1, PRI, Fiber, LAN or AS-SIP. It should also provide capabilities such as multi-level precedence and preemption (MLPP), integration with Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) and Land-Mobile Radio (LMR) radios with future Very High Frequency (VHF) radio compatibility. Additional features include digital voice recording for multiple lines simultaneously, programmable speed dial buttons for efficient call handling, caller ID functionalities for both incoming and outgoing calls, as well as historical record maintenance of call logs.

Furthermore, each controller position will be equipped with advanced hardware including touch-screen turrets that can be mounted on existing console furniture using VESA mounts. The system should allow expansion capabilities for additional users in future upgrades while ensuring redundancy through private LAN capabilities connected to government-furnished equipment racks powered by UPS systems. This project represents a significant investment in enhancing communication reliability within Buckley SFB's command posts to support their critical operational roles effectively.
