USSF Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Forecast to Industry Future Requirements Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026   2

Background
The United States Space Force (USSF) Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Office, or CSCO, is responsible for the procurement of satellite communication capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).

The Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) aims to provide a range of satellite communication services over the fiscal years 2025-2026. This document outlines anticipated requirements and is current as of December 2024.

Work Details
The FCSA covers three primary service areas:
1) COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity (CTC), which includes satellite bandwidth and power requirements along with limited engineering services;
2) COMSATCOM Subscription Services (CSS), which involve fixed and mobile satellite services billed on a per-use basis; and
3) Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3), allowing for custom satellite solutions including terminals and engineering services.

The anticipated requirements include various Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and contracts for Ku-band and L-band services, bandwidth management support, and managed network services for different military commands, including USAFRICOM, USMC, USCG, USINDOPACOM, and others.

Period of Performance
The contracts will generally have a term of one year with four one-year options, spanning from anticipated effective dates in April 2025 through November 2025.

Place of Performance
The contracts will be performed in various locations as specified by the individual requirements, including coverage over the contiguous United States (CONUS) and specific military operational areas.
