Description

This announcement constitutes a SOURCES SOUGHT for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award for locker shipbuilding repair services to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) LPD Division. These services include, but are not limited to disassembly, inspection, preservation, reassembly, replacing gasket, and performance of operational tests on Ready Service Lockers. The period of performance for the anticipated contract is September 2022 to November 2022.

This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.

MARMC is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle that will provide support services as defined in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The USG is contemplating the following NAICS codes for this acquisition: 336611, 337215, 32813, and 325510. The Government appreciates industry feedback on the appropriate NAICS for this requirement

Reponses to this Sources Sought request should reference N50054-22-R-0014 and shall include the following information in this format:

  1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, fax number and email address.
  2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI).
  3. Business Size
  4. Capabilities statement demonstrating ability to provide the minimum requirements of the support services described in the draft SOW. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: (1) prior/current corporate experience performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three (3) years, including contract number, organization supported, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government point of contact with current telephone number, a brief description of how the contract referenced relates to the technical services described in the draft SOW; (2) company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s); and (3) management approach to staffing this effort with qualified personnel which should address current hires available for assignment to this effort, possible subcontract/teaming arrangements, and strategy for recruiting and retaining qualified personnel.

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Standard company brochures will not be reviewed. Submissions are not to exceed ten (10) typewritten pages with a 12-point font minimum.
