BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair LLC, San Diego, California, was awarded, on 8 June 2024, a $1,244,478 firm-fixed-price planning undefinitized contract action for maintenance, modernization and repair of USS HALSEY (DDG 97) Fiscal Year 2024 Depot Modernization Period (DMP). The scope of this acquisition includes all labor, supervision, equipment, production, testing, facilities and quality assurance necessary to prepare for the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availability for critical modernization, maintenance and repair programs. Work will be performed in San Diego Californo and is expected to complete by September 2024.
