Description

Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (NAVSUP FLCSD) has a requirement to provide maintenance services for USS ESSEX's 4 anesthesia units that is essential for surgical capabilities. CLIN 0001 will be for the total price of the maintenance, to include travel and parts needed to repair the units. See Attachment 2 for the breakdown of specific breakdown of total price.

NAVSUP intends to award purchase order on a sole source basis to Draeger Inc. (Drager) in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Draeger is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the anesthesia units and the sole provider of the required service.
Telephone responses will not be accepted.
This is a notice of intent to sole source synopsis, not a solicitation or a request for competitive quotations. This is not set-aside for Small Business. Any interested party that believes they should be considered capable of fulfilling this requirement should submit a capability statement of their related products or services to be reviewed for technical content. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government All submissions will be considered, however there is no guarantee that submissions in response to this notice will in any way alter the Government's acquisition strategy.

Background
Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (NAVSUP FLCSD) has a requirement to provide maintenance services for USS ESSEX’s 4 anesthesia units that are essential for surgical capabilities.
NAVSUP intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Draeger Inc., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the anesthesia units and the sole provider of the required service.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance on Drager anesthesia units, including:
1. Quantity: 4 – Fabius Non-contracted 6 YR PM, which includes a 6-year preventative maintenance kit and items specific to 6 years of service.
2. Quantity: 2 – Travel Zone – Maintenance for travel for 2 technicians.
3. Quantity: 4 – Vamos Ser.NonCntrSch.PM, supplementary unit to the Drager units with items specific to 2 years of service.
4. Quantity: 4 – Kit pressure regulator O2/AIR long L, maintenance kit for pressure regulators.
5. Quantity: 4 – Kit pressure regulator N20 long, maintenance kit for pressure regulators.
6. Quantity: 4 – Fabius GS ServSet (3 year), parts for service.
7. Quantity: 4 – Maintenance -Kit COSY 2.n, 2y, for a 2-year service interval for Drager units.
8. Quantity: 4 – CLIC adapter, wear and tear part.
9. Quantity: 4 – Absorber washer, wear and tear part.
10. Quantity: 4 – Flow meter, wear and tear part.
11. Quantity: 4 – Flow mat, wear and tear part.
12. Quantity: 4 – Accu Lithium Ion, wear and tear part.
13. Quantity: 4 – O-Ring, wear and tear part.
14. Quantity: 4 – Filter (37mm), wear and tear part.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed with delivery occurring no later than July 3, 2026.

Place of Performance
USS ESSEX, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.

Bidder Requirements
All contractor personnel performing pick-up and delivery services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam must have current Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) registration and certification.
