Background
The Military Sealift Command, located in Norfolk, has a requirement for the USS EMORY S. LAND (AS 39) to undergo a Regular Overhaul Dry-Docking (ROH/DD).
This contract opportunity is part of the agency's mission to maintain and repair naval vessels to ensure operational readiness.
The goal of this contract is to prepare the USS EMORY S. LAND for continued service following its scheduled maintenance.

Work Details
The work involves a Regular Overhaul Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) for the USS EMORY S. LAND (AS 39).
Specific tasks include:
- Conducting a thorough inspection and maintenance of the vessel's hull and systems during dry-docking.
- Performing necessary repairs and upgrades as identified in the draft work item index, which is subject to change.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards during the overhaul process.
- The contractor must demonstrate capabilities in shipbuilding and repair.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on or about May 1, 2026, and continue until December 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's facility located on the West Coast.
