Background
The contract is issued for the regular overhaul and dry docking of the USS EMORY S. LAND (AS 39). The agency's mission involves maintaining naval vessels to ensure operational readiness and national security. The goal of this contract is to prepare for and accomplish the necessary maintenance work on the USS EMORY S. LAND, which is critical for its continued service.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks as part of the overhaul and dry docking of the USS EMORY S. LAND (AS 39):
1. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the vessel's condition prior to the overhaul.
2. Execute all necessary repairs and maintenance as outlined in the work item package.
3. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards during the overhaul process.
4. Provide access to technical data and information related to the vessel, subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
5. Implement organizational controls to manage access to sensitive data and prevent unauthorized disclosure.
6. Return or destroy all data upon completion of work or contract award to another entity, with certification of destruction provided if applicable.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from May 1, 2026, to December 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for this contract shall be at the contractor’s facility located on the West Coast.
