USS DEWEY (DDG-105) FY25 Surface Incremental Availability

The Government will award a contract to accomplish the FY25 5J1 SIA onboard USS DEWEY (DDG-105). The work will be accomplished at the US Naval Base Yokosuka, Ship Repair Facility Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC).

1. TGI 38K4115401-A01 - REPLACE NONSKID SYSTEM ON 03 LEVEL WEATHER FRAMES BETWEEN 163 AND 193

2. TGI 38K4116801-A01 - Ship/Alteration (S/A) 96350D, MODIFY 02 LEVEL AND 03 LEVEL WEATHER BERP

Background
The USS DEWEY (DDG-105) FY25 Surface Incremental Availability contract is issued by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (NAVSUP FLCY) to support the repair and maintenance of the USS DEWEY. The goal of this contract is to accomplish the FY25 5J1 Surface Incremental Availability (SIA) onboard the vessel at the US Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan. This work is crucial for maintaining the operational readiness of the ship as part of the U.S. Navy's mission.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform tasks as outlined in two Task Group Instructions (TGIs):

1. Replace nonskid system on 03 level weather frames between frames 163 and 193;
2. Modify 02 level and 03 level weather BERP as per Ship/Alteration (S/A) 96350D.

The contractor is responsible for providing management, scheduling, testing, quality assurance, and technical documentation necessary to support the SIA Bundle 1. All work must conform to applicable NAVSEA Standard Items (NSIs) and SRF-JRMC Local Standard Items (LSIs). The contractor must also manage Government Furnished Material (GFM) and Contractor Furnished Material (CFM), ensuring compliance with military performance specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from May 6, 2025, through July 22, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan.
