USPS OIG Audit Support Services - Market Research

The United States Postal Service (USPS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking information from potential suppliers for Audit Support Services. This Request for Information (RFI) is not a formal solicitation but aims to determine the level of interest, competition, and technical capabilities in the marketplace for two positions: a Financial Expert and an Operations Research Analyst / Statistician. The USPS OIG may issue a future solicitation based on the results of this RFI.

The Financial Expert position will support the Finance Directorate within the Office of Audit (OA). The role involves providing in-depth research materials, technical support, and best practices to support various audit findings related to finance and financial operations. The Operations Research Analyst / Statistician position will support the Audit Services Directorate within OA. This role requires state-of-the-art technical support to design and develop mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques to assist audit teams in conducting effective and efficient audits.

Suppliers interested in responding to this RFI must submit their responses electronically by February 14, 2022. The USPS OIG requests that responses do not exceed 10 pages per position and should include point-of-contact information. The organization emphasizes that all information submitted will be safeguarded from unauthorized disclosure.
