Background
The Military Sealift Command, based in Norfolk, has a requirement for the USNS WASHINGTON CHAMBERS (T AKE 11) to undergo a Regular Overhaul Dry Docking Availability.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained and repaired effectively, supporting the operational readiness of the Navy. This sources sought notice is intended to gather information about potential contractors capable of performing the required work.

Work Details
The work to be performed under this contract includes:
1) Furnishing General Services for Ship;
2) Cargo Potable Water Tank Repairs;
3) Machinery Space Turn-Over, Dock Trials and Sea Trials;
4) Cleaning and Gas Freeing Tanks, Voids, Cofferdams and Spaces;
5) Distiller Cleaning, Inspection, and Maintenance;
6) Shipyard Support for MDE Overhauls;
7) Delivery and Redelivery of Vessel;
8) CCTV System Installation (T-ALT 540).

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on or about December 8, 2025, and continue until March 9, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's facility located on the West Coast.
