USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE 6) mid-term availability   4

Background
The solicitation is for the mid-term availability of the USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE 6) from 6/3/2024 to 8/17/2024 on the East/Gulf Coast of the U.S. The work involves preparing for and accomplishing the VR, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE 6) as specified in the WI package provided in Attachment J-1. The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.

Work Details
The work includes various tasks such as preparing for and accomplishing the mid-term availability of the USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE 6) as per Attachment J-1, physical security at a private contractor's facility, continuation of services, and other optional work items. The contractor shall be responsible for providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, and quality assurance services. Additionally, they must use progress measurement systems to determine physical progress, develop a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart, apply stringent configuration control procedures, manage all subcontractors’ performance during the availability, and employ good judgment and sound engineering practice and principles. The contractor shall also be capable of performing the full scope of the requirement within its own facilities or subcontracting for elements beyond its capability or capacity.

The period of performance for this contract is from 6/3/2024 to 8/17/2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed on the East/Gulf Coast of the U.S.
