Background
The Department of the Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and services. The contract is awarded on a sole source basis to Rolls-Royce Solutions America, Inc., which is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Main Propulsion Diesel Engines (MPDE), model 20V8000M71L. This contract aims to provide transportation cases necessary for the long-term storage of MPDE cylinder units, ensuring mission-critical reliability and safety across the Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) Class ships.

Work Details
The contract includes the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) with specific items, quantities, and units of measure:

- **CLIN 0001**: MPDE Power Pack Transportation Devices containing:
- Transportation Device (1 EA)
- Desiccant Bag (20 EA)
- Corrosion Inhibitor (20 EA)
- Industrial Gloves (20 EA)
- Adhesive Tape 50MM (20 EA)

- **CLIN 0002**: Same as CLIN 0001

- **CLIN 0003**: Same as CLIN 0001

- **CLIN 0004**: Same as CLIN 0001

- **CLIN 0005**: Preservation Materials (20 LT)

All items must include Section 232 tariffs, wood packaging, DOD unique identification, and shipping costs in their prices. The delivery is required FOB Destination at Norfolk, VA.

Period of Performance
The required delivery date is set for September 30, 2025.
