Background
The Military Sealift Command, based in Norfolk, has issued a sources sought notice for the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY (T-AKE 5) to conduct a Regular Overhaul and Dry-Docking (ROH/DD). This contract aims to ensure the vessel is maintained and operationally ready, aligning with the agency's mission to provide strategic sealift and support to the U.S. Navy and other government agencies.

Work Details
The work involves a Regular Overhaul and Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) of the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY (T-AKE 5). The contractor will be responsible for all tasks associated with the overhaul and dry-docking process, which includes but is not limited to: inspecting and repairing hull structures, systems maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

The draft work item package index is attached and subject to change. Interested firms are requested to submit a capabilities package that includes:
(1) Company Profile including number of employees, office locations, UEI number, CAGE Code, and small business designation;
(2) Description and location of the facility where work will be performed;
(3) Information on any partnerships or joint ventures.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on or about April 1, 2026, and conclude by June 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility located on the East/Gulf Coast.
