Description

Prepare for and accomplish the mid-term availability of the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY (T-AKE 5) as specified in the solicitation and in accordance with the work item package. The anticipated period of performance is 5 JULY 25 to 26 AUG 25. The place of performance for this contract shall be the contractor's facility. Due to operational and national security availability considerations, the location shall be an east coast/gulf coast availability.

All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.

The solicitation will be made available on or about January 2nd, 2025 through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment Solicitation Module. https://piee.eb.mil/sol/xhtml/unauth/index.xhtml

To obtain access to the work item package and government furnished information technical data, complete and return the attached non-disclosure agreement to the point of contact of this announcement.

The decision to solicit as a total small business set-aside was made from market research. There is an expectation of receiving proposals from two or more small businesses.

Background

The Offeror must ensure that a corporate principal oversees compliance with the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) regarding access to technical data, use it solely for proposal preparation and contract performance, adhere to dissemination restrictions, comply with export controls, establish organizational controls for data access, identify subcontractors, assure third-party disclosures are covered by similar NDAs, return or destroy data upon contract award or completion, and cooperate in recovering or destroying improperly released information.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from July 5, 2025, to August 26, 2025.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for this contract shall be at the contractor’s facility located on the east coast or gulf coast due to operational and national security considerations.
