USNS PECOS FY22 MTA   3

Background
The solicitation is for the USNS PECOS (T-AO 197) FY22 MTA. The work involves preparing for and accomplishing the VR, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS Pecos (T-AO 197) as specified in the WI package provided in Attachment J-1 – WI Package (Specifications). All work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.

Work Details
The work includes various tasks such as preparing for and accomplishing the MTA of the USNS Pecos (T-AO 197), providing physical security at a private contractor's facility in FPCON Charlie - Delta, continuation of services, kingpost repair, steel replacement, and miscellaneous pipe replacement. Additionally, it involves providing unit prices for electrical shore power, potable water, distilled water, bilge water removal, crane usage, and hazardous waste handling fee rate as per specific WI requirements. The contractor is also required to submit data IAW the CDRL, DD Form 1423.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract has been changed from 16-Nov-2021 to 26-Jul-2022.

Place of Performance
All work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
