USNS Patuxent FY25 ROH   4

Background
The USNS PATUXENT (T-AO 201) is under the jurisdiction of the Military Sealift Command (MSC), which is responsible for providing strategic sealift and ocean transportation for the Navy and other government agencies.

The goal of this contract is to perform a Regular Overhaul and Drydocking (ROH/DD) for the vessel in FY25, ensuring it meets operational standards and remains seaworthy.

Work Details
The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish the Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) of the USNS PATUXENT as specified in the Work Item (WI) package provided in Attachment J-1.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability, resources, and quality assurance services.
2. Ensuring timely procurement of materials and reporting on their receipt, storage, and installation.
3. Utilizing progress measurement systems to track physical progress against planned performance metrics.
4. Developing a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart to measure scheduled performance.
5. Applying quality control procedures to ensure compliance with required standards.
6. Managing subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations.
7. Submitting various plans including Heavy Weather Plan, Cold Weather Plan, Fire and Flooding Protection Plans as per specified requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract work will be performed over a specified period during FY25, with exact dates to be determined based on contract award and scheduling requirements.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be conducted at the contractor's shipyard.
