Background
The USNS MATTHEW PERRY (T-AKE 9) is undergoing a regular overhaul and dry-docking as part of the Military Sealift Command's mission to maintain and enhance the operational readiness of naval vessels. This contract aims to ensure that the vessel is properly serviced and maintained to meet operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish the Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) of the USNS MATTHEW PERRY (T-AKE 9) as specified in the Work Item (WI) package provided in Attachment J-1. Responsibilities include:

- Providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability, resources, and quality assurance services.
- Ensuring timely procurement and reporting of materials.
- Using progress measurement systems for work completion tracking.
- Developing a performance milestone schedule.
- Managing subcontractor performance.
- Maintaining stringent configuration control procedures.

Specific tasks include:
1. Prepare for and accomplish ROH/DD as per Attachment J-1.
2. Provide management, procurement, production, testing, technical capabilities, and quality assurance.
3. Ensure timely procurement of materials.
4. Use progress measurement systems for tracking work completion.
5. Develop a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart.
6. Manage subcontractor performance to ensure quality standards are met.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from February 17, 2025, to May 17, 2025.
