Description

Please see attached sources sought notice and associated technical NDA for the USNS MATTHEW PERRY FY25 ROH/DD.

Background
The Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS MATTHEW PERRY (T-AKE 9) for a Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) on/about February 17, 2025, for 90 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located on the West Coast.

Work Details
The notional work package items include various tasks such as general services for the ship, cleaning and gas-freeing tanks, voids, cofferdams, and spaces, potable water tank preservation, cargo petroleum tank preservations, resilient mount replacement, cargo crane maintenance and retesting, hose replacement, lifeboat davit service and inspections, drydocking and undocking the vessel, propeller shaft and stern tube inspections, freeboard cleaning and painting, underwater hull cleaning and painting, transfer head sliding block refurbishment and chain replacement.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to be performed on/about February 17, 2025, for a period of 90 days.

Place of Performance
The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located on the West Coast.
