USNS LARAMIE (T-AO 203) FY 2025 Mid-Term Availability (MTA)   5

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) Contracting Office is seeking eligible businesses for the Midterm Availability (MTA) on the USNS LARAMIE (T-AO 203). The goal of this contract is to perform necessary maintenance and repairs on the vessel, which is crucial for maintaining operational readiness.

The USNS LARAMIE has an overall length of 678 feet, a breadth of 98 feet, and a draft of 36 feet. This sources sought notice serves as a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award.

Work Details
The major work items include:
- General Services for Ship
- Clean and Gas Free Tanks, Voids, and Cofferdams
- Miscellaneous Steel Repairs
- Aft Mooring Main Deck Steel Replacement
- Preparation and Painting of Various Areas on Tank Deck and Mooring Deck
- Tank Preservation
- Gray Water Collection System Installation
- Overhaul of No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 CT Winches
- Miscellaneous Pipe Renewal.

Work is to be performed at the Contractor’s facility.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence on or about August 16, 2025, for a period of seventy-five (75) calendar days.

Place of Performance
The area of consideration for performance is the East/Gulf Coast.
