Background
The USNS JOSHUA HUMPHREYS is undergoing a modification for its FY26 Maintenance, Training, and Administration (MTA) work. The contract is administered by the MSCHQ Norfolk office, which is responsible for overseeing the execution of the contract and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The goal of this modification is to incorporate settled contract change orders (CCOs) that are within the scope of the original contract and utilize Fiscal Year 2026 Operations and Maintenance funding.

Work Details
The modification incorporates settled contract change orders numbered 037, 043, 047, 052, 055, 056, 058, 060, 067, 072, 076, 079, 081, 082, 087, 090, 092, 094, 096, 098, 099, 100, 101, 102, and 108. These changes have been deemed necessary to address various aspects of the contract without altering its overall scope.

Additionally, there are no outstanding issues or concerns related to these incorporated CCOs. For invoicing purposes related to this modification, amounts will be determined in the Progress Payment Schedule. Furthermore, through this bilateral modification agreement, the contractor releases the government from any liability concerning further equitable adjustments or claims arising from this contract modification.

Period of Performance
The effective date of this modification is May 7th, 2026. The work will continue under the terms of the existing contract as modified.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Alabama Shipyard LLC located at 660 Dunlap Drive, Mobile, AL 36602-8001.
