Background
The solicitation is for the USNS JOHN LEWIS FY24 MTA W/ DRY DOCKING. The work involves preparing for and accomplishing the VR, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS JOHN LEWIS (T-AO 205) as specified in the WI package provided in Attachment J-1. The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard. The contractor shall be responsible for providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, and quality assurance services.

Work Details
The work includes various tasks such as Category 'A' WIs, AGR and ODC, and optional Category 'B' WIs. It also involves providing heavy weather plans, cold weather plans, fire and flooding protection plans, and material control and storage.
The contractor is required to submit a Heavy Weather Plan IAW WI 0006, a Cold Weather Plan IAW WI 0007, a Fire and Flooding Protection Plan IAW WI 0016.
Additionally, the contractor must provide a TPSN demonstrating an understanding of the overall scope of work and the plan to accomplish that work by providing milestones for each WI including Category 'B' items.

Place of Performance
The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
