USNS JOHN LEWIS ECDIS Troubleshoot

Background
The USNS JOHN LEWIS requires urgent troubleshooting and servicing of its Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS). The acquisition is being justified under the simplified acquisition threshold, allowing for solicitation from a single source due to the urgency of the requirement. The agency has determined that only one source is reasonably available for this contract action, which is Raytheon, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the ECDIS system.

Work Details
The contractor will provide troubleshooting and servicing for the ECDIS on the USNS JOHN LEWIS. This includes:

1) Identifying and resolving issues with the ECDIS system;

2) Ensuring that all services performed are compliant with OEM standards;

3) Providing necessary technical support and documentation related to the service performed;

4) Coordinating with ship personnel to ensure minimal disruption during service activities.
