USNS Henry J Kaiser FY 24 MTA   3

Background
The solicitation is for the USNS HENRY J KAISER FY 24 MTA. The work involves preparing for and accomplishing the VR, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS HENRY J KAISER (TA-O 187) as specified in the WI package provided in Attachment J-1. The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard. The contractor shall be responsible for all related work, including management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, and quality assurance services.

Work Details
The work includes various tasks such as preparing for and accomplishing the MTA of the USNS HENRY J KAISER TAO 187 as per Attachment J-1, providing physical security at a private contractor's facility in FPCON Charlie - Delta, continuation of services, steel replacement, miscellaneous pipe repair, and drydocking continuation.
Additionally, the contract includes AGR and ODC with specific details on man-hour estimates by department, growth absorption, facilities requirements including berthing and mooring requirements, drydock evaluation form for an ROH/DD, and organization chart of key personnel.

Place of Performance
The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
