Description

USNS GUADALUPE FY25 ROH/DD Solicitation
Background
The USNS GUADALUPE FY25 ROH/DD Solicitation is issued by the Military Sealift Command (MSC) with the objective of preparing for and accomplishing the Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) of the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200).

The contract aims to ensure that the vessel is maintained to operational standards, thereby supporting the mission of the MSC in providing strategic sealift and ocean transportation for the Navy and other government agencies.

Work Details
The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish the VR, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS GUADALUPE as specified in the Work Item (WI) package provided in Attachment J-1. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability, resources, and quality assurance services.
2. Ensuring timely procurement of materials and reporting on their receipt, storage, and installation.
3. Utilizing progress measurement systems to track physical progress against a scheduling plan.
4. Developing a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart to measure scheduled performance.
5. Applying approved quality control procedures to ensure compliance with required standards.
6. Managing subcontractor performance to meet quality expectations.
7. Implementing stringent configuration control procedures for material and production work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period that includes preparation and execution phases for the overhaul/dry-docking process, with specific milestones outlined in the WI package.

Place of Performance
All work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard unless otherwise specified.
