USNS GUADALUPE FY26 Mid-Term Availability   4

Background
The USNS GUADALUPE FY26 Mid-Term Availability contract is issued by the Military Sealift Command (MSC) under the Department of Defense. The mission of MSC is to provide sealift and ocean transportation for the Navy and other government agencies. This contract aims to prepare for and accomplish voyage repair, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) as specified in the work statement, ensuring that all necessary maintenance and repairs are performed efficiently and effectively.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Prepare for and accomplish voyage repair (VR), overhaul, or alterations of the USNS GUADALUPE as specified in the Work Item (WI) package. All work shall be performed at the contractor's shipyard unless otherwise specified.

2. Manage all aspects of work including procurement, production, testing, technical capability, resources, and quality assurance services.

3. Ensure timely procurement of Contractor Furnished Material/Contractor Furnished Property (CFM/CFP) and maintain accountability for materials used during the availability period.

4. Utilize progress measurement systems to track physical progress against planned performance metrics.

5. Develop a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart to measure scheduled performance with clear identification of primary and parallel critical paths.

6. Implement approved quality control procedures to ensure compliance with required standards for procured materials and production work.

7. Maintain configuration control procedures for all procured material and production work to ensure alignment with existing baselines.

Place of Performance
The contract work will primarily be conducted at the contractor's shipyard.
