Background
The solicitation is for the USNS GUADALUPE FY 24 MTA, Amendment 01 for incorporation of RFCs #001 ? 026, 028 ? 031. The contract involves vessel repair work and requires the contractor to prepare for and accomplish the voyage repair, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) as specified in the Work Items (WIs) package provided in Attachment J-1. The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, and quality assurance services; ensuring timely procurement of CFM/CFP; using progress measurement systems to determine physical progress of completed work; using management procedures and systems to identify behind-schedule conditions and unfavorable schedule variances; developing a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart; applying stringent configuration control procedures; providing for staging and storing of material and LLTM for use in the availabilities from the date of award; managing all subcontractors’ performance during the availability; employing good judgment and sound engineering practice and principles; performing ship repair work within its own facilities or subcontracting for elements beyond its capability or capacity; possessing industry certifications such as MSRA, ABR, or ISO Certification.

Place of Performance
The work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
