Description

Please see the attached Sources Sought for the USNS COMFORT ROHDD FY24. The Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is attached for ease to ensure a timely delivery of package documents upon release of solicitation.

Background
The Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) for a Regular Overhaul/Dry Docking (ROH/DD) on/about August 1, 2024 for 155 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located on the East Coast or Gulf Coast.

Work Details
The notional work package items include various tasks such as general services for the ship, ballast tank preservation, boiler inspection and hydro, elevator controller upgrades, lifeboat and davit replacement, delivery, storage, fueling, disposal, and operational support for crew training, replacement of Radflouro (Angio) Unit and Ship’s Laundry Upgrade, FWD and AFT Ward Nourishment Room Upgrade, drydocking and undocking the vessel, and underwater hull cleaning and painting.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed on/about August 1, 2024 for 155 days.

Place of Performance
The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility located on the East Coast or Gulf Coast.
