Description

Please see attached sources sought for the USNS COMFORT FY23 MTA.

Background
The Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) for a MAINTENANCE TERM AVAILABILITY on/about September 15, 2023 for 120 days. The place of performance will be at a Contractor’s facility on the East Coast or Gulf Coast.

Work Details
The notional work package items include tasks such as ABS Annual Tank Survey, Tank Preservation Potable Water, Main Engine Throttle Lube Oil Dump Valve Modification, Distilling Plant Overhauls, and many others. The solicitation requests firms to demonstrate their experience in performing similar work and provide information on their business size and further classifications. Responses are due by 10:00 a.m. est., Norfolk, VA time on January 30, 2023.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to be performed on/about September 15, 2023 for a period of 120 days.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at a Contractor’s facility on the East Coast or Gulf Coast.
