USNS Cody (T-EPF 14) ROH/DD FY26   3

Background
The USNS CODY (T-EPF 14) is under the jurisdiction of the Military Sealift Command (MSC) and requires a Regular Overhaul Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) as part of its maintenance and operational readiness. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the vessel undergoes necessary repairs and alterations to maintain its operational capabilities, adhering to specified standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall prepare for and accomplish the overhaul or alterations of the USNS CODY as specified in the Work Item (WI) package provided in Attachment J-1. All work shall be performed at the contractor's shipyard unless otherwise specified. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability, resources, and quality assurance services.
2. Ensuring timely procurement of Contractor Furnished Material/Contractor Furnished Property (CFM/CFP) and managing their reporting, receipt, storage, installation, and accountability.
3. Utilizing progress measurement systems to track physical progress against planned performance baselines for scheduling elements including material control and manpower management.
4. Identifying scheduling issues promptly through established management procedures.
5. Developing a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart to measure scheduled performance with clear identification of critical paths and milestones as outlined in WI 0013.
6. Implementing approved quality control procedures to ensure compliance with required standards for procured materials and production work.
7. Maintaining configuration control for ship's equipment and systems regarding procured materials and production work.
8. Managing subcontractor performance to ensure quality standards are met consistently across all work performed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period that aligns with the scheduling requirements detailed in the Work Item package, which includes milestones for completion.

Place of Performance
All work will be conducted at the contractor's shipyard unless otherwise specified.
