This requirement is for Mess Attendant Servics for the Midshipmen Food Service Division (MFSD) at The United States Naval Academy. This work involves providing the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct, and overhead personnel to perform wardroom dining services and non-food preparation catering support. Additional details are attached in the solicitation and supporting documents. A site visit is offered as detailed on page 54 of the RFP. The site visit will take place on 12/16/2021. Potential Offerors interested in attending must identify themselves by COB 12/14/2021. Reference the solicitation for additional instructions.

***N0018922R0002 Amend 01- Amendment 01 is posted on 12/14/2021. This amendment clarifies the question deadline which is Friday, 12/17/2021. This amendment also provides additional instructions for the registered site visit vendors. A powepoint document containing directions is also included in the attachments. The TPOC will meet the vendors at Gate 1 and escort them through security. Please bring a mask and photo ID.

Background
This requirement is for Mess Attendant Services for the Midshipmen Food Service Division (MFSD) at The United States Naval Academy. The work involves providing the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct, and overhead personnel to perform wardroom dining services and non-food preparation catering support. The Naval Academy serves over 12,000 meals daily on average. The campus is known as 'The Yard' and includes the midshipmen dormitory, Bancroft Hall; the midshipmen dining hall, King Hall; academic buildings; staff buildings; athletic fields and facilities, and officer housing. The Midshipmen Supply Officer is responsible for all quality of life and service issues to include disbursing and food services relating to midshipmen and the Commandant’s budget.

Work Details
The work involves providing dining room services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for Wardroom Services. This includes catering wait staff for banquet dinners, buffets, receptions, picnics, dances, fueling stations, and other special events. The contractor shall provide housekeeping services including dishwashing, servery clean-up, special events set up and clean-up, bathroom cleaning for their staff and Chesapeake room, waxing floor twice a year as opposed to optional services dishwashing (pots, pans, appliances used in the kitchen while cooking), trash and garbage removal, galley pot and pan wash. The contractor's key personnel shall provide managerial oversight to meet contract requirements including attending key meetings, ensuring sanitary guidelines are followed, collecting customer feedback, providing attendance data, collecting meal tickets, providing scheduling services for all regular operation & events.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the United States Naval Academy located in Annapolis Maryland.
