Description

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for the provision of dust collection services at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The primary objective of this initiative is to maintain the operational efficiency and safety of the Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking (PPP&M) operations by ensuring that the dust collector system remains fully functional. This effort is critical for maintaining proper airflow, controlling airborne wood dust and particulates, reducing fire hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards.

The scope of work involves comprehensive preventive maintenance services including quarterly inspections, annual filter replacement, biannual filter cleaning, system troubleshooting and repair, pressure monitoring, airflow verification, and emergency repair support as needed. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, replacement parts, equipment transportation, and technical support to perform these tasks effectively. All maintenance activities must comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications as well as OSHA, EPA, DoD regulations.

Additionally, contractors are required to conduct an initial survey and assessment for any corrective maintenance or repair actions needed. This includes providing a written assessment identifying deficiencies along with recommended repairs and timelines for completion. However, no repairs or orders for replacement parts shall proceed without prior approval from the Contract Administrator. The performance period spans a base year from September 2026 through August 2027 with four additional option years available.
