Background
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is seeking information for potential sources for a global, airborne subscription service capable of providing access to the ViaSat Global Network (VGN) tiered service with optional access to ViaSat’s Ku/Ka VGN with high-throughput service. The service must be able to provide mobile, airborne communications and dedicated backhaul to USMC network points of presence (PoP). The contract is managed by the Space Systems Command (SSC) Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) and is intended to support the USMC Enroute Airborne Broadband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Support effort.

Work Details
The required capabilities include providing VGN services that interoperate with aircraft equipped with ViaSat KuSS / MV-22 Hatch Mount Terminal, including the VR-12H Antenna Assembly and ArcLight2™ satellite modem. Additionally, the contractor must be able to provide no less than eight SIMOPs of VGN subscriptions, with at least two of the total eight providing enhanced West Africa Service. Other requirements include providing ViaSat Ku/Ka Global VGN high-throughput service, teleport services to support voice, video, and data transport, terrestrial backhaul from the commercial teleport to interface with existing US government MPLS points of presence (PoPs), and technical support via a commercial help desk operating 24/7/365. The contractor must also have Top Secret Facility Clearance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 19 March 2022 to 18 March 2023, with four one-year option periods.
