USGS Move and Store Equipment Federal Center, Rolla, MO 65401

Background
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing a sole-source procurement for moving, relocation, and on-site storage services for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) at the Rolla Federal Building.
The goal of this contract is to facilitate the timely relocation of USGS equipment and materials in preparation for a major construction project scheduled to begin shortly.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and storage containers to disassemble, move, and store USGS furniture, IT equipment, map racks, and office materials on-site.

The services include:
- Moving Services: Disassembly and removal of pre-disassembled cubicles/furniture; disassembly of four 70' x 12' metal map racks; packaging; wall/floor protection; and relocation to storage containers (subcontracted via Eagan Office Interiors for $19,745.00).
- On-Site Storage Services: Delivery and placement of six 53-foot storage trailers for up to 8 months on-site at the Rolla Federal Center (subcontracted via Palmer Leasing for up to $19,800.00).

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed immediately prior to the start of a major construction project scheduled within two weeks from the award date.

Place of Performance
Rolla Federal Building, 1400 Independence Rd., Rolla, MO 65401.

Bidder Requirements
The contract is awarded solely to Junior College District of East Central Missouri (East Central College), as they are the facility Lessor with administrative rights and operational capability to manage facility access and contracting on-site.
