Background

The USDA APHIS Veterinary Services (VS) requires the procurement and distribution of plastic tamper-evident low frequency radio frequency identification (LF RFID) 840 USDA Official ID button-type swine approved ear tags. These tags are critical for the official identification of swine, which is essential for promoting swine traceability nationwide.
