USDA Request for Information (RFI) - Integrated Acquisition System (IAS)

Background
The USDA is seeking information regarding the Integrated Acquisition System (IAS) to enhance its IT support services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective management, security, and modernization of the IAS, which is critical for the agency's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services including:

- IT Program Management to oversee all program activities and ensure successful delivery of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and System Development and Enhancement (SDE) services;
- Security services to maintain the authority to operate (ATO) and ensure data security for new functionalities;
- O&M services to guarantee system availability, user support, and software vendor support;
- SDE services for creating/updating interfaces, custom validations, enabling COTS functionality, performing developments based on user requests and regulatory changes, and advancing training and web portal capabilities.

Significant SDE efforts include contract file attachment decompression for search functionality and development of a custom Contract Closeout Utility. Smaller SDE enhancements will occur regularly such as report creation due to new business processes, enabling new COTS features, developing custom applications, and supporting major operational tasks related to interfacing financial systems.
