USDA Forest Service Flathead National Forest Portable Toilets

Background
The USDA Forest Service Flathead National Forest is seeking a contractor to provide portable toilet services for various recreation and administrative sites within the Hungry Horse-Glacier View Ranger District.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that these sites are equipped with clean and accessible restroom facilities for visitors, thereby supporting the agency's mission of providing quality recreational opportunities while maintaining environmental stewardship.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for standard portable toilet placement, regular service, and pickup at the following locations:

1) Blankenship Bridge Dispersed Camping Area (6 units from June 15th – Sept. 15th, serviced weekly);
2) West Glacier River Access Site (2 units from May 27th – Sept. 27th, serviced weekly including one ADA unit);
3) Abbot Bay Boat Launch (1 unit from May 27th – Sept. 27th, serviced weekly);
4) Essex River Access Site (2 units from May 27th – Aug. 27th, serviced bi-weekly);
5) Optional Item - Flossy Bay Dispersed Camping Area (1 unit from May 27th – Sept. 27th, serviced bi-weekly).

The contractor is responsible for all transportation costs and must coordinate specific placement locations with the agency's representative.

Period of Performance
Base Year: May 15, 2025 – April 14, 2026; Option Year One: May 15, 2026 – April 14, 2027; Option Year Two: May 15, 2027 – April 14, 2028; Option Year Three: May 15, 2028 – April 14, 2029; Option Year Four: May 15, 2029 – April 14, 2030.
