USDA AMS Cotton HVI Machine Purchase   2

Background
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking to purchase 15 High Volume Instrument (HVI) machines with Modified Automic and a 1-year warranty. The period of performance for the contract is from 03/01/2023 to 02/28/2033.

Work Details
The contract requires the acquisition of 15 Cotton Testing Instruments (CTI), which are interchangeable with HVI machines. The CTIs must include a full commercial warranty and provide all service maintenance as specified in the solicitation. The CTIs are required to have specific technical capabilities including measurements of fiber length, strength, uniformity, micronaire reading, color/trash imaging, and other parameters.
The CTIs shall be configured for operation in a high-volume production environment and comply with OSHA requirements. Contractors are required to submit various documents with their quotation package including Company Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number, completed Price Schedule, make/model/specifications of the HVI being quoted, committed delivery and install schedule, trade-in values for equipment listed, references for past performance of same/similar type work, and completed fill-in sections of all applicable Provisions under section F-Provisions.

The period of performance for the contract is from 03/01/2023 to 02/28/2033.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the equipment is specified as Grading Branch, 3275 Appling Road, Room 1, Memphis TN 38133-2701.
