USCGC SEA FOX DD Repairs   3

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing this solicitation for drydock repairs of the USCGC SEA FOX (WPB-87374). The goal of the contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained and repaired to meet operational standards.

The vessel's home pier is located at 6013 Daniel Webster Rd, Kings Bay, GA, 31547. Contractors are encouraged to inspect the site where services will be performed to understand local conditions that may affect contract performance.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway where the vessel can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of the tide at any time of day or night. The facility must have a minimum water depth of 12 feet and a minimum height clearance of 55 feet.

Specific tasks include:
1. Preparing a proposed schedule with resources and overall period of performance for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), including start and stop dates for major subtasks.
2. Identifying critical paths for the project and showing calculations for float along these paths.
3. Identifying items that may pose schedule risks and approaches to mitigate these risks.
4. Submitting documentation on coatings certification requirements, sewage and grey water system cleaning procedures, watertight closure assessment qualifications, handling mast interferences, welding certifications/procedures, dry dock certifications, and fire safety plans as outlined in various specifications.
5. Addressing temporary measures for fire detection/alarm systems during repairs and detailing how risks from breaches in fire protection boundaries will be mitigated.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is set to begin on July 15, 2025, and end on September 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at a facility accessible from a navigable waterway that meets specified depth and clearance requirements.
