USCGC Kennebec Drydock FY 26   5

Background
This requirement is for the USCGC KENNEBEC, which is homeported in Coast Guard District 5 at 4000 Coast Guard Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23703. The contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery Requirement Contract (IDR).

The primary goal of this contract is to facilitate drydocking services for the vessel as part of its maintenance and operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing drydock services for the USCGC KENNEBEC. This includes but is not limited to:
- Performing necessary repairs and maintenance as specified in the attached specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards during the execution of work.
- Providing a facility that is accessible from a navigable waterway where the ship can safely arrive, lie afloat, and depart at all states of tide.
- Conducting inspections and providing reports on the condition of the vessel throughout the drydocking process.
- Coordinating with Coast Guard inspectors and ensuring their presence during critical phases of work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from March 30, 2026, to June 8, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a shipyard that meets specified accessibility requirements, located near navigable waterways.
