Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. USCGC Calhoun located in North Charleston; SC intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000 for: Change of Command Ceremony USCGC Calhoun (WMSL 759).

The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to support CALHOUN Change of Command ceremony. Anticipated attendance estimated 200. Ceremony will be held on CALHOUN Flight deck at Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Pier Papa, 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, SC 29405.

Setup and installation 40' x 60' Ceremony Tent, table , audio equipment, Four (04) speakers, Two (02) Podiums, Two hundred (200) folding chairs, Four (04) fans on CALHOUN flight deck: Tent, table and chairs setup shall take place Monday June 22, 2026, between 7am and 8pm. Podiums, audio equipment, speakers and fans can be set up at contractor degression based on weather conditions, however must be completed by 8am on Wednesday June 24, 2026. The contractor shall provide ample water bags/weights/drums to secure tent and padding to preserve flight deck. Padding shall be placed at all points of contact with flight deck to prevent potential delamination. 110V Electrical power is available from ship's power. A stand-alone generator is not required for this event. Contactor is responsible for transporting equipment from pier to flight deck for setup and from flight deck to pier for breakdown.

Breakdown and cleanup of party tent and furniture: Breakdown shall occur beginning Wednesday June 24, 2026, no earlier than 2 pm and completed prior to Thursday June 25, 2026 at 4 pm.

All materials and supplies to be furnished are as follows:

  • One (01) 40' x 60' White Tent (Flight Deck)
  • Two hundred (200) Folding chairs, Color: Bone (ex. Samsonite).
  • Two (02) Podiums equipped with microphone capability.
  • Four (04) Speakers to project sound from microphones to cover tent area.
  • Four (04) 48 or greater Drum blower fans.
  • One (01) 4' x 8' Table for Audio equipment.
