Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to repair and install new flooring on the second-floor
hallway, install new batt fiberglass insulation, drywall and paint walls & ceiling in the hall wall, closet and duty room including
bathroom from previous water damage remediation. U.S. Coast Guard Station Washington, building 92 located on Joint Base
Anacostia-Bolling, 3870 Giovannoli Street SW, Washington, DC 20032.
All quotes must be submitted by NOON Eastern Time on Apr 08, 2025. All quotes must be submitted via email to
Samuel.T.Salerno@uscg.mil. Ensure blocks 14 (Include UEI) through 20c and 30a, 30b and 30c of the SF 1442, and pricing are
completed before emailing.
This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238310. The small business standard is $19.0
million. The PSC is 5640.
All eligible responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard, however
those submitting quotes that do not have an active vendor record at SAM.gov or meet the size requirements prior to the RFQ
due date and time will be considered either ineligible or non-responsive and will not be considered for award.
The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation.

Questions about this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Specialist, SKC Samuel Salerno at the email
listed above, no later than NOON Apr 03, 2025. An amendment may be posted to clear up any ambiguities or answer all
questions received at one time. No oral questions will be accepted.

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Station Washington is issuing a contract for repairs and installations at Building 92, located on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The mission of this contract is to remediate water damage by providing necessary repairs and improvements to the facility, ensuring it is ready for use.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to repair and install new flooring, insulation, drywall, and paint in areas affected by previous water damage. Specific tasks include:
1. Install approximately 900 square feet of new waterproof 30mil LVP flooring in the second-floor hallway (old flooring already removed).
2. Install approximately 40 linear feet of new baseboards and ΒΌ round shoe molding on the second level.
3. Install approximately 2000 square feet of new drywall where walls and ceilings were removed due to damage, including filling wall cavities with batt fiberglass insulation, corner beading, taping, and joint compound.
4. Install replacement LED lighting in the hallway, duty room, and bathroom where water damage was present.
5. Replace the bathroom exhaust fan and motion sensor in the duty bathroom only where water damage was present.
6. Paint all repaired walls and ceilings with interior latex paint (white) including primer.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work no later than seven days after receiving notice to proceed and must complete all work within twenty-one working days after contract award.
