Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is soliciting a request for quotation for commercial services related to the certification and inspection of firefighting systems and associated equipment at USCG Base New Orleans.

This acquisition is set aside for Small Business or 8A contractors, with the goal of ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal fire marshal code requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to perform Fire Marshal Code inspections and services at Base New Orleans.

Key tasks include:
1. Conducting multi-level fire system maintenance and inspections in accordance with applicable codes.
2. Ensuring personnel have qualifications and experience with Simplex Grinnell protection systems.
3. Scheduling work to minimize disruption to facility operations, performing on-site work between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on weekdays.
4. Implementing a safety program that adheres to federal safety regulations and includes appropriate safety measures such as barricades and signage.
5. Complying with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal, including recycling or proper disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with RCRA guidelines.
