Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking to provide training for Crane Operations for six personnel at the Industrial Production Facility (IPF) in Miami, FL. This training is critical for the operation of Aids to Navigation (ATON), Cutter, Facility, and Small Boat availabilities at IPF Miami, particularly as the unit operates a 30 Ton Rough Terrain Crane (RTC), Grove Model #RT530E, which personnel have limited experience with.

Work Details
The Vendor shall furnish and supply a 40 Hour (5 business days) Crane Operator training course for approximately six personnel at IPF Miami, FL. The course shall include all training aids and course material tailored to ASME B30.5, ANSI B30.5, and OSHA 1926.1400. Course materials must include a Mobile Cranes handbook (by James Headley – Tenth Edition or later), a Rigging handbook (by James Headley - Seventeenth Edition or later), a Rigger’s Capacity Card, and a Hand Signal card for all personnel being trained.

The course will cover various modules including:
- Introduction to crane operations
- Operational risks
- Ensuring crane readiness for operations
- Correctly positioning loads
- Securing the crane after operations
- Responding to emergencies. Each instructor must have a minimum of five years of Crane Operations and Rigging instructional experience. An end-of-course exam will be administered to ensure learning objectives are met, and certificates will be awarded upon satisfactory completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 5 business days.

Place of Performance
The training will take place at the Industrial Production Facility (IPF) in Miami, FL.
