Description

USBR-DO PIV ACCESS SYSTEM REPAIRS
Background
The Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) is issuing this contract for the repair of the PIV Access System. The USBR's mission includes managing water resources and providing reliable water supply, which necessitates maintaining operational integrity of access systems critical to their facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the PIV Access System is fully functional and compliant with operational standards.

Work Details
The contractor will perform repairs on the PIV door access systems located in various buildings at the Denver Federal Center, specifically targeting areas such as 67-5-South IDF closet, 56-1144 closet, door 56-1430, and Mod-1 adding 67-14-South closet panels and 1500 Wing. Key tasks include:

1. Conducting a diagnostic assessment to identify issues with the existing access systems.

2. Completing all repair work during duty hours (8 AM to 5 PM MST, Monday through Friday).

3. Replacing malfunctioning components with new parts compatible with the Velocity environment, including:
- New MX8 mother board with SNIB3
- Adapter bracket for mounting
- EBIC5 long ribbon cable
- Standby batteries.

4. Performing programming, configuring, and testing of access systems post-repair.

5. Troubleshooting to determine necessary parts for replacement.
