USBP Tucson Sector Uniform Apparel, Shop Towels and Fender Covers and Laundering Services

Background
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), Tucson Sector (TCA) has a requirement to provide clean functional uniform apparel to personnel who work in environments involving maintenance and fleet services.

This contract aims to supply apparel, shop towels, fender covers, and the laundering service of these items to various locations within the Tucson Sector.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide laundry services on a set weekly schedule, picking up soiled items and returning cleaned items the following week.

The Contractor must deliver clean apparel, fender covers, and shop towels during normal business hours of 6am - 2pm, Monday through Friday. Apparel must be delivered on hangers while shop towels and fender covers should be delivered in bundles.

The Contractor is responsible for providing laundry bags for dirty apparel and oil-resistant containers for oily shop towels. Upon initial award, the Contractor shall provide 11 shirts and pants per employee, ensuring all clothing items are free of stains and rips, with proper size buttons and working zippers. The Contractor must replace any items that cannot be repaired at no additional cost within 24 hours of notification from the customer. Annual inspections of clothing will also be required to replace worn items.

Specific uniform requirements include:
- Garage Personnel: light grey shirts and charcoal pants;
- Welders: fire-resistant tan shirts and brown pants;

All shirts must have two pockets and display the department name and employee name as specified at award. Shop towels must be 100% cotton with specified dimensions, while fender covers must be standard size for pickup trucks and sedans.

A base period with 4 option periods for a total of 5 years.
