Background
The purpose of this activity is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by improving energy efficiency measures in the buildings and transportation sectors, and reducing Short Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCP), thereby helping to put Mexico on a pathway to net zero emissions after 2030. The contract is part of the USAID/Mexico Partnership for Net Zero Cities.

Work Details
The contract is a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Completion Type Contract. It includes tasks such as developing a rapid mobilization plan, quality assurance surveillance plan, annual work plan, monitoring, evaluation, and learning plan, annual performance reports, quarterly performance reports, quarterly financial reports, accrual reports, success stories, outreach and events, climate risk screening, final report, weekly meetings, grants under contract manual, reporting of foreign taxes, other reports, and closeout/demobilization plan. The Contractor must also provide key personnel for full-time performance and submit various deliverables such as plans and reports according to specified due dates.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is five years from the start date of September XX, 2022.

Place of Performance
The services described in the contract will be performed in Mexico with certain tasks allowed to be performed outside of Mexico.
