USAID/Cambodia Localization Support Activity

Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Cambodia is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) regarding a new planned activity called 'USAID/Cambodia Localization Support.' The purpose of this activity is to ensure that local actors lead Cambodia's development. The primary services under the prospective activity will cover support for Mission staff to improve local partnerships, monitoring, evaluation and learning, and capacity strengthening for local actors. These efforts align with the goal of USAID/Cambodia’s 2020-2025 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS), which aims to make Cambodia a more open, prosperous, resilient, and inclusive partner in the Indo-Pacific region.

Work Details
The work includes providing support for Mission staff to improve local partnerships, monitoring, evaluation and learning services, and capacity strengthening for local actors. This involves conducting Partner Landscape Analysis to identify and assess local partners aligned with USAID’s priority focus areas, facilitating outreach to new partners, learning from current partnerships, and developing potential local partnerships.
Additionally, it includes providing staffing support, translation services, outreach activities such as industry days and stakeholder facilitation. The MEL services involve third party monitoring, data collection for Accountability and Feedback Plans, Data Quality Assessments, and capacity strengthening.
The capacity strengthening services aim to provide demand-driven capacity strengthening to local organizations such as NGOs, CSOs, faith-based organizations, and the private sector.
