USAFA WiFi Expansion Phase III Request For Quote

Background
The US Air Force Academy (USAFA) is seeking to expand its WiFi capabilities through the WiFi Expansion Phase III project. This initiative aims to enhance network connectivity for academic missions, ensuring that students, faculty, and administrative staff can access essential resources such as the MissionNet, Student Information System, O365, print services, and the internet. The contract is a 100% Small Business Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) competitive set-aside.

Work Details
The contractor will upgrade and expand the existing WiFi system (MISSIONNET/AFACADEMYGUEST) across various facilities at USAFA. The specific requirements include:
- Installation of Cisco switches, modules, and SFPs.
- Use of Ekahau heat maps for optimal coverage.
- Deployment of Aruba 500 series and outdoor series access points.

The project consists of six phases prioritized by completion dates:
1. Vandenberg Hall, Bldg 2360
2. Arnold Hall common spaces, Bldg 2302
3. Arnold Hall Theater, Bldg 2302
4. Harmon Hall, Bldg 2304
5. Community Center Auditorium, Bldg 5136
6. Outdoor Cadet Tennis Courts, Bldgs 10171, 10170, 10081.

All hardware including access points (APs), cabling, switches, routers must be provided and installed by the contractor and transferred to the government upon completion of each phase.
