USAFA MissionNet Support Services

Background
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is seeking to consolidate contract requirements for MissionNet Support Services.

This non-personal services contract aims to enhance the Academy's network infrastructure, which supports a diverse user base of approximately 9,600 individuals, including 4,200 cadets and over 5,400 faculty and staff.

The network is crucial for academic, administrative, and event-related functions, contributing to the Academy's mission of developing officers of character for the United States Air Force.

The infrastructure leverages advanced technologies such as Microsoft O365, Azure, Cisco, VMware, and Aruba wireless to provide robust connectivity and IT support for both users and over 1 million annual visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive MissionNet Support Services that include:
1. Operation and maintenance of USAFA's Cloud-hosted Services and Information Technology systems.
2. Management of day-to-day functions related to cloud services including email services, collaboration tools, security measures, backup solutions, and mobile services.
3. IT support systems management including custodial duties for IT equipment and security patching.
4. Ensuring seamless connectivity across the Academy's expansive campus while supporting various events throughout the year.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the United States Air Force Academy located in Colorado.
